Responsibilities:

Assisting the Head Chef in supervising and coordinating all culinary activities.

Overseeing food preparation, production, and presentation in accordance with set standards.

Ensuring compliance with hygiene and safety regulations in the kitchen.

Managing and training kitchen staff to maintain high culinary standards.

Collaborating with the kitchen team to create new and innovative menu items.

Monitoring inventory levels and ensuring the timely procurement of food supplies.

Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Assisting in the development and implementation of cost-effective culinary strategies.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Sous Chef or relevant role in a reputable establishment.

In-depth knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, and kitchen procedures.

Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively manage a diverse team.

Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced hospitality environment.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Understanding of and compliance with sanitation regulations.

Culinary certification or degree from a recognized institution is preferred.
