Job Description:

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Gouvernante to join our team in Morocco. As a Gouvernante, you will be responsible for overseeing the housekeeping and cleanliness standards within our establishment. You will play a critical role in ensuring that our guests experience a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The ideal candidate should have a strong eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to lead and motivate a team.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate the housekeeping staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
• Ensure that all rooms and common areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and tidiness.
• Oversee the inventory and ordering of housekeeping supplies and equipment.
• Develop and implement efficient cleaning processes and standards to optimize productivity and maintain high-quality standards.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure adherence to cleanliness and safety standards.
• Address any guest concerns or special requests promptly and effectively.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience and a positive working environment.
• Uphold health and safety regulations and guidelines at all times.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Gouvernante or in a similar supervisory role within the hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of housekeeping procedures and practices.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in relevant software and systems related to housekeeping management.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with fluency in English and French. Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
